Send Relief Kits to Veterans & Pets Experiencing Homelessness
This Memorial Day, help us deliver 2,500 Relief Kits veterans facing homelessness.
More than 30,000 veterans are living on America's streets — and as costs keep rising, that number is only growing. This Memorial Day, we can show up for the people who showed up for us.
For veterans experiencing homelessness with a pet, it's even harder. Pet-friendly shelters are scarce — so many veterans are forced to choose between a roof over their head and the companion who's been by their side through everything.
Each Relief Kit includes supplies such as:
- A pack to hold supplies and possessions.
- Toiletries including shampoo, soap, and toothbrush.
- A reusable water bottle.
- T-shirt, socks, and additional clean clothing.
- A blanket for warmth and comfort.
A pet can be a veteran's closest bond — sometimes their only one. But when you're homeless, keeping that bond means turning down shelter beds, stretching meals, and sleeping outside.
Each Pet Pack includes supplies such as:

- A collapsible bowl to provide a clean place for the pet to eat or drink.
- A slip lead leash to ensure the pet remains safe with their veteran owner.
- A pet toy for a fun distraction.
- Pet food and treats to provide the veteran's pet nourishment.

Our partner, Greater Good Charities, works to provide food and comfort items to veterans experiencing homelessness in areas with high veteran poverty populations. Through our relationship with the VA, these essential items will ensure local veterans have access to basic supplies and nutritious meals.

Partnered with Veterans Leadership - Pittsburgh - stand down distribution - provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothbrushes, towels
9/27 - St. Louis, MO
Partnered with Missouri Veterans Endeavour (MOVE) and Veterans Community Project for a stand down distribution and street outreach where we gave out Relief Kits.
06/13/25- Veteran Stand Down Event - Worcester, MA
Greater Good Charities provided hygiene and pet supplies to veterans, thanks to your donations. The veterans and their pets are beyond grateful for the support.
10/11/24 Update
Greater Good Charities was on the ground in Asheville, North Carolina, delivering thousands of hygiene products, pet food, and essential supplies to the local VA for veterans affected by the recent storms. Their team will continue distributions as the area begins recovery efforts.

In honor of Veterans Day, our team attended the Operation Veterans Stand Down Event in Miami on November 9, 2023! We handed out nearly 250 relief kits and 75 supplemental pet packs to veterans in the community, who shared their stories and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this support. Through distributions like this, Greater Good Charities makes a difference in the lives of veterans in need, and expands our network of partners in order to bring relief kits to more communities!
