Adaoma Hand Carved Sese Wood Adaoma Good Lady Mask from Ghana
Titled for an Igbo word meaning 'good lady,' this mesmerizing striped mask uses hints of red along with bright yellow eyes that stand out from the black and white of the rest of the mask. Hand carved from local sese wood by Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu, the mask is also adorned with raffia at the bottom and features carved lines in the eyes and around the top of the head.
